Can't be too serious because he just ran a PB at training

"As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk
WOW from Barlow - to beat your PB by 28 seconds when you're already ahead of the rest of the club is a pretty impressive effort. Lets just hope he can learn to translate it onto the field. He has all the tools to take up ROK's old HF role.
Terrific news about Barlow - takes a lot of hard work and strenuous application to get those results. Yes, let's see it on the field now.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Bird in a crystal ball)

Bradshaw set to play

I am pleased for both Barlow and Bradshaw, they will both get game time this year IMO. My only concern is that Barlow beat Spriggs 3 Km time, and we know how much he played for the Swans firsts..

Lewis' foot/knee injury couldn't be that bad, considering he just ran a personal best in a 3km time trial.
Also, if big Ed doesn't make it at the Swans, maybe he should have a fair dinkum crack at athletics. Could be a chance to run for Australia at the Commonwealth or Olympic games.

Playfair is now able to train too. It's good to know we have a spare tall for seniors depth or reserves daddy who is good to go...not just dead weight on the list.
I have always thought that Playfair is the delegated Reserves daddy. He would be very good at this fairly important position. I mean it, not taking the piss.

I thought TDL would be ready by now. He's been on 1-2 weeks then test then back to 1-2 weeks with that knee.

I read from one of the regular reserves watchers that Johnston picked up another foot injury, this time to the ball of his foot?
