Any reason why the coaching staff haven't snapped you up?
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

But is that a strategy or a tactic...?

    Three simple areas required:

    1) First hands on the football at stoppages
    2) Intense pressure on the ball carrier when we don't have it
    3) Go forward with the ball at all cost as a first option to break open their zone

If we can do those three things consistently well next Saturday night we will win.

OK, on a more serious note, I actually believe the round 2 match against the crows at AAMI is actually more important to our season than this round 1 game against the saints. Dont get me wrong, a win against StKilda would be great, but I truely believe that if we were to score a win in round 2 against our 'OFFICIAL'(its not Collingwood people) bogey side, I think the confidence the playing squad would gain would be invaluable and it will set the tone for the remainder of the season. It'll be like, 'wow, we finally beat the crows, we can beat anyone'. The confidence the playing group would gain from a win against the crows would be the momentum builder the swans season needs.

That would be nice, particularly for us non-Sydneysiders. Only got to see one win last year, and it was against Richmond, so it hardly counted! This year I only get to see one game for my membership (Rd 4 v Kangaroos), so a win there would be nice!

Magic's 300th game hardly counted, Rob???????? I reckon it was more important than all our other wins for the season combined, regardless of the opponent.

And North is the worst game to go to with their 100 supporters turning up there's no atmosphere
