Bradshaw - Pretty Sure I'm not Barry Hall

Maybe by Thursday, Ben McGlynn will confess - I am Barry Hall

    Comparing their last 5 seasons.
    Hall 2005-2009
Bradshaw 2004-2009 (he missed all of 2007).

If you are looking at goals kicked, and I stand to be corrected here, but I remember that Bradshaw played in the back lines a reasonable amount during those five seasons.

    Hmmm, frees against is interesting

I noticed that too. Veeery interesting. I wonder how many more goals Hall (or the Swans) would've kicked if he hadn't kept getting pinged?

Reckon you are right about Bradshaw re. defence, which makes his goal tally that much more impressive imo. And even when he was forward, he was the #2 go-to guy in attack, which is another big difference bet him and Hall.

    Great stats work Scotty.
To all those people who waited 72 years to see a South Melbourne/Sydney Swans premiership HERE IT IS!!

Not to mention the ones he should have been paid!

Not much in recent times. Certainly played back a lot in their successful era ('01-'04) but hasn't play much in the backline since Lynch retired.

Nice work Scott - but keep in mind Braddles has been playing second banana at the Lions - whereas it's been Hall or nothing at all for the Swans. Talk of Baz winning the Coleman this year is bollocks.

Well aware of that mate, that's what makes his comparison look so impressive. Also someone pointed out he's played down back a few times as well.
Maybe I should've compared him to MOL, as well

Am I the only one who thinks Bradshaw is a tad underdone to be playing round 1? All the media reports have said he hasn't trained with the main group for a few months so familiarity with teammates and the game plan would have to be an issue. I hope it doesn't backfire on Saturday night.
