Why a tall on the bench in Ted? We have three talls down back, three tall forwards and two rucks.

    Would have preferred another runner.

Geez, I better buy a program to recognise who's who. And we don't even get an easy redhead ID. Should recognise Luke Ablett on his lap of honour, though.

This already has the makings of a very good season.

Tough? yes but Moore has to be accountable now.If like last year, he sprays a shot running into an open goal when a goal would win it he won't be picked again. IMO TD-L offers more than both Bevan and Moore because he can get goals many different ways. I think Ultimately he will win that FPocket spot.

Strong side and with ready made repalcements in Bevan, Smith and Rohan, along with Hannaberry, Vespremi etc to come soon if you don't perform straight away you will be out.

Should make for a more desperate team straight up.

Fair points. Moore had better be over his yips. I thought Bevan had a better preseason, so maybe a bit stiff to miss out.

    Otherwise, exciting team. I'm pumped.

    Was thinking the same myself.

Ted's a good player but a tough call is going to have to be made.

Smith should be playing in that team. Who is playing on Milne?

Smith to BP > Shaw to midfield > Jetta to bench > Sorry Ted.

Moore very lucky IMHO. Why isn't TDL playing?
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

TDL was never in the frame for round 1, played half a practice game before being injured and was not overly impressive in the half a game he got.

In the end it came down to Moore, Bevan or Rohan as that small forward to put pressure on. Moore got the nod over Bevan and Rohan has been rested.

One thing is for sure, Moore will need to pull out a beauty as he is under fierce pressure from both Bevan and Rohan for his spot.

Smith is a hard one, will probably see someone like McGlynn/Jack get a combo deal on Milne so Smith was forced out.

No complaints at all with that line-up. I'd say our just about our best 22 ATM.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Shaw on Milne.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
