Daniel Bradshaw He just might be the next Barry Hall

If the ball gets delivered the way it did on Saturday night he might just turn around and punch someone out of frustration.

Lol...it took just two days for Industrial Fan to lose the title.

Methinks this thread may hold the title for longer.

With all the I'm not's on this board, I thought a bit of humour wouldn't go astray.
Never mind I will just settle for the Melbourne Comedy Festival.

I was at the game, but I thought when they replayed the Goodes cross to him he had a very, very large grin on his face. He seemed to like delivery like that.

Yep, happy to change the lead in the "dumbest thread of the year".

Don't worry, I thought it was fine.

I think the main point of the OP is that the disposal coming into the forward line, apart from a few occassions, was once again pretty woeful. We need to get midfielders in with speed in their legs who can kick long and accurately (I'm sure Jetta's going to help with this). There are few things worse as a forward than having to constantly factor in your head who the guy is that is about to kick to you, and when you should hold off your lead because of it- if you haven't played much footy as a forward, I assure you that's a massive problem to have to worry about... there's nothing worse than running to space and suddenly realizing that the guy who is about to deliver it just is not going to get it there... think seeing Malceski versus Kirk being 70 metres away streaming forward.

You'll always get inconsistent delivery, but we need to get to a situation where it's not the norm (or at least is not 50% of the delivery). People think Barry will salivate over the delivery he's receiving at the Bulldogs, a large part of the excitement for him is that he will know that more often or not he can just focus on getting to the space and know that the ball will get there rather than have to focus on cutting short his lead/doubling back as often.

Not an anti-anyone thread, really. I think over the coming seasons our midfield will have more Vez, Bird, Hanners, Jetta, Rohan- that's solid recruiting by the club and should address the concern.

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

    So did I.

I doubt that Bradshaw would snap the way that Hall did (plus there is nothing to suggest that Hall was in a constant state of frustration / volatile anger due to the delivery of the ball - it was just his nature - he looked like he was going to snap in the NAB Cup final for the Bulldogs and he was receiving the ball more often than not lace out!).

If Bradshaw was to snap it might be in the form of over-doing the weights (like the day he supposedly had to withdraw from a match for the Lions because he strained himself doing dead lifts prior to the game (why he was doing them as a warm up for anything is totally bizarre).

Still I hope that the forward line functions better in the weeks ahead.
