Geelong still have "it" thats for sure - they are the benchmark team - like it or not.
Having said that though, we did ourselves no favours with the way we dropped such getable and easy marks, and disposals were not that flash either. Why is it when the opposition are in attack that our blokes are more often than not a step or two behind them - yet when we are in attack, the opposition are wearing us like gloves?
We missed LRT and Bolton, stil Geelong didnt have Corey or Rooke (and they are very handy players)
I love Jetta, he has so much potential, however, he seems so hesitant poor kid. Certainly he has shown glimpses, but maybe nerves, the expectation and the monkey on his back about getting his first goal are getting the better of him. I mean Rohan got his first in his first game yesterday (even though it was a bit of a gimme). Perhaps a go in the reserves for a week might enable him to get his mojo back - because we do know what he is capable of - we saw it in the NAB cup. Who knows - its just a thought (and I'm really not a fan of the red boots!) Still - maybe it was the bring back to reality we needed. If we win next week against the Dogs, then the lead up to the Freo game the following week should be fantastic.
