Article: Sydney vs Fremantle, 22nd May 2010 - Match Report

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Heavens above! I was flying solo at this game - wifey stayed home as she had some work to do. So I entertained the 2 year old, kept her fed and warm, hurled abuse at umpires, and took notes on my iPhone for the match report. Taking photos was not on the agenda unfortunately

Plus, our seats at the SCG are 2nd last row of the O'Reilly.. lousy spot to take footy photos. I like to be on the fence for footy photography

Thanks for the kind comments - my recollection of the game was predictably vague, which I think is understandable considering the distractions coming from the small human in the seat next to mine!

The beauty of having kids Des, is when they are older (and can write coherently) you can abuse the father power and get them to take notes for you!!

Nice recollection of the game, anyway. You'll have to choose another "certainty" team now.

What was with the yellow cap? Where was the red & white one?

She appeared very well-behaved whenever I looked you way.

That's her Winnie The Pooh hat. Woe betide you if you try and take it away.

At least it's yellow and not navy and white!!!

Good read Des, although I think you could have summarised the whole thing into one line - Swans poor, umps poorer!

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Des, I've only just caught up with the RWO match reports. Great read mate.

"Swans poor, umps poorer". Could be the summary of most games this year.
