AFL seeks 'further information' over St Kilda schoolgirl sex claims
Keep your pants up boys.
Or better still, use protection, it's not that hard to get these days.

That's going to happen when you visit schools in the Collingwood area.
Her parents must be so proud.

I love how they've rolled out the " her facebook page says said she was 19 defence". Because surely a schoolgirl wouldn't lie on her facebook page, right ?
That's beside the point. The age of consent is 16 in NSW (for memory 18 in Vic). Either way, a statutory rape charge can be fought on the grounds of reasonable deniability. The cut and dried example is a person you pick up in a nightclub. You must be an adult to enter, so it is reasonable to assume anyone you have sex with that you met in that nightclub is legal (provide they give consent, of course).
As far as I can tell the girl is not saying she was forced in anyway, making the only legal case to answer one of statutory rape (sex with a person legally unable to make the appropriate decision themself, through age, disability, etc). The arguement of "we thought she was old enough" is what will be contested here, and why the players are saying they don't remember meeting her at a school clinic (so says Fox Sports News).
The long and short of it is IF the players didn't (or don't remember) meeting her at a school clinic and IF the players demonstrate that it was reasonable to assume she was over-age then there is no case. Having consensual sex with multiple people at one time is not against the law, and niether is getting pregnant by it.

A gun father-son selection for the Sainters in 2028.
lol I think this will be just be tabloid stuff, it doesn't rank with the Soccer player that just went to court re: a sexual act with a 13 yr old he thought was 16 or 18. (charges dropped)
There is talk in some articles that she also met up with a third AFL player in Sydney that was from another club (not many options I would suggest club wise lol)....I wouldn't be throwing moral stones just yet!
Despite the inferences in the article the third player "involved" is apparently from Collingwood.
AFL has declared it a private issue after it was proved the players didn't "hook up" at the Player Appearance at her school, but a few weeks later after a game, and as she is over the age of consent, it's nothing to do with anyone but them.
Maybe C7 News will do a bit of dirty work and get those names out there lol
