It's not ROCKET SURGERY.... just watch videos of Gary Ablett j. and Chris Judd..... low to the ground , eyes over the ball till its gone, follow thru...
should be able to teach that to a 21 year old.

Not a good comparison. Judd misses more targets than he hits.

    Quite so.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Just what I was thinking. Judd is only good on the run. He is happy to admit he's a shocker with set shots, and I've heard him admit it. : )

hahaha aren't we all ? . Kirkys kick aint pretty, sure and it lacks penetration but at least he knows his limitations. He kicks the ball intelligently and from what i can see he regularly kicks the ball to the right spot and/or hits his taget. He is also probably as reliable a kick for goal as we've got when the ball hits the deck. I think some people make the mistake of getting mesmerized by some of the players with beautiful, poetry in motion kicking actions and as such miss the fact that these guys turn the ball over a lot more than you think. Kirky is the victim of having an unattractive, slow looking kicking action which people assume makes him a poor kick. His disposal efficiency for 2010 is 73%. Granted there's probably more handballs than kicks in there but still that is more efficient than Goodes, Jack, ROK, Jetta, Hanneberry, and Mcveigh, who are all far better kicks, and far more attractive users of the football.

Interesting to note that among those with similiar or better efficiency than Kirk are "turnover kings" Shaw, Kennedy and the infamous LRT. Special meniton to Ted "Turnover Ted" Richards, with an effective disposal rating of 82% ! ( All stats for season 2010)

I rekon he is more gifted than Nick Davis too as Nick was being touted as being able to switch codes and play 5/8
