I drove past the 'G at 3/4 time, Saints fans were pouring out.

Pies outSainted the Saints - their pressure and intensity was excellent and Saints were definitely off their game. Thing is that ultimately it makes no difference to the Saints - they will still finish top 4, and with top 2 going to be Vic based teams, they will play a qualifying final in Melbourne regardless....

I feel towards the Pies the same way I felt towards Germany in the World Cup. After getting flogged by them I was pleased by their progress, sort of.
