Just heard on SEN that police advise they won't be charging Fev.
Update: "regarding the 2009 Brownlow night".

On sunrise this morning they played part of a radio interview from a witness to the alleged incident. It seems the wife was giving Fev her phone number and the husband saw it happening and thought he could get Fev this way. I must admit I had wondered why it was the husband, not the wife who was complaining.
BREAKING NEWS ~~~ At the end of September of 2011 the government will start deporting all the Crazy people!!!
I started crying when I thought of YOU!!!
RUN My little Crazy Friend RUN!!!. . . .
Well, what can I say? Someone sent it to me and, Man......... I'm NOT RUNNING ALONE!!! HURRY - WE GOTTA GO,
Are Ya With Me?
People still watch Sunrise?
Anyway, pretty poor by the Lions to slam dunk Fev without any determination as to what happened.
They think they'll come off looking like saints for upholding public standards, but tehy look weak and disloyal for pretty much condemning a man without a trail.
I guess you know you've had too much to drink when a doctor is yelling "CLEAR" in the ER
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.
Yes, except he is clearly using beer bottle instead of breadcrumbs.
Aside from my morallt profound statement above, the guy is a tool.
I'd probably have the best time if I went out drinking with him though.
The stuff he pulled at the brownlow night is very much like the stuff I pull when I'm out writing myself off.
I'm not as big a celebrity as Fev though, so most of what I do doesn't get reported in the media.![]()

Hope that breadcrumb trail runs through Sydney????? In a way I kinda do, maybe a dose of "Bloods Culture" is what the young man needs!!??

Surely the AFL and the Lions could have come out and said that they'll assess a police report and then make a decision, while telling Fev, that they support him 100% while he's still presumed innocent. For its part, Brisbane says it's not jumping to any conclusions and emphasises its awareness that the claim against Fevola is no more than an allegation. Yet it suspended him, subjecting him to inevitable humiliation and presumption of guilt, and spoke of the non-negotiability of respect and responsibility.
<snip>
But what if he's not guilty? Just think of this: if it emerged the often wayward forward had done nothing wrong and was absolutely entitled to resume his contract and career, how could he do it as an employee of a club whose actions have exposed him as Brisbane's did last week?
Is it just me or are Brisbane a train wreck since Voss took over? Goes to show again that not all great players go on to be good coaches

OR
they could have said
"mate, what the hell? OK, we'll give you the benefit of the doubt for now, but if it turns out that you pulled some more wacked out crap, your ****ed"
Eitehr way, they could have waited for any kind of findings before whacking another nail in his coffin.
