I see the Rams side to play Dandenong Stingrays this weekend has been named. Can anyone identify which of the players are Swans Academy players please.

Just look at the clubs they are from and if they fall in the Swans zone they'll be ours.

Which ones are ours? Easy. All the players named after body parts (Foote, Head and you know the rest) are in our ZONE.

Recruits to come over the next few years:
    Josh Dunkley (F/S)
    Callum Mills (Academy)
    Isaac Heeney (Academy)

Any conerns about Josh wanting to join the Swans under Father/Son should be gone after checking his twitter feed. Dunks & Callum have been roommates on AIS trips and are best mates. Goodsey also took him on a Swans tour around the training facilities etc in Jan with Dunks posting a pic with the great man (and already, he stands as tall as Goodsey!). Dunks also retweets Micky O, Goodsey and Jude Bolton tweets and other related Swans links often. Dunks plays for Gippsland and obviously admires Scott Pendlebury who became the first Gippsland Power boy to captain an AFL club.

Interestingly, in both Josh and Callum's twitter feed there are posts singing the praises of Isaac Heeney. One read " The Swans have a serious player in Isaac Heeney".

Looks as we will be in line to pick up 3 classy midfield prospects in the next couple of years. With the rest of our picks we can focus on KPPs. I noticed that we have played both Abe Davis and Jordon Foote (who got votes in our best) in our reserves squad, so imagine they will be in contention for the draft this year, maybe rookie list.

With all these great prospects coming through I would think its time for Jordan Lockyer, Harry Marsh, Dene Towers, Dick and Membrey to get into gear or they may lose their spots on the senior list! What do you think Ludwig?

They all seem to be making some progress, except perhaps for Towers, so hard to say how they will be assessed at the end of the season. I was a bit surprised to see Alex Brown get delisted last year, because he seemed to be doing well in the reserves. But you would have to think that a few will be delisted, as the rookie listed players seem to be the better ones atm.

The Rams lost to the Stingrays over the weekend. But the TAC site names Heeney as the Rams' best, closely followed by Hiscox, Mills and Foote. Hiscox and Davis each kicked two goals.

And while he doesn't strictly belong in this thread, it's inevitable it will keep tabs on him. Josh Dunkley was named as second best for Gippsland in their loss to the Western Jets.

    Stats vs Stingrays.

Isaac Heeney 33 possessions, 8 marks, 10 tackles
Callum Mills 34 possessions, 9 marks, 4 tackles
