A nice but a little sad write-up on the Moody brothers.

That's very odd.... Stories on the Mac uni website and the Sportingpulse website both say that the Moody brothers came from the WAFL....
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

According to the SAFL website, they were both cleared to Mac Uni from the WAFL this season ... maybe that part of the story was too boring????

    MACQUARIE UNIVERSITY AFC - SportingPulse

Though this article says they played with North Fremantle in the WAFL...a club that doesn't appear to exist (anymore, at least). Further searching of the WAFL site throws up an Eric Moody linked with Perth who is of the right age.

One thing in favour of the Narromine version of things is that I would have thought there would be a minimum qualification period (residence wise) for players to be signed by one of the Academies, especially for players so close to draftable age. Otherwise there would be scope for abuse of the system.

    Players

Eric has a name twin over in the WAFL, who happens to be of the same age but plays for Perth colts not North Freo (I also noticed that there is another Chris Yarran in that group!). After all, it doesn't make much sense for them to come over from the WAFL (colts) and go play in the Sydney Premier division if they wanted to further their football career.

Aren't these the boys I mentioned when commentating on the GWS game? Said it was a hilarous site to see one of them standing next to Mark Seaby. there is not much of them, but we noted that they could play. Good on them. Hope it all comes together.

He's only 16, so he's not going to be on the radar yet.

Dubbo and Narromine are (north) west of Sydney.

Will be great if they not only achieve their wish but play for the Swans.

Along with Perris and a couple of other boys on the Academy list, he made the initial U16 Rams squad earlier this month. I can't find an announcement of the final squad to see if he survived the final cut.

RAMS U16 Final squad just named. Perris is there but not Jalloh. I'm not sure who else is part of our Academy.
