Crouchy comes back to the Swans

ONE of the Sydney Swans longest-serving players, Jared Crouch, is being brought back into the fold in a coaching role, involved in player development and the new QBE Sydney Swans Academy.

I wonder if they plan to go with a senior coach/forwards/midfield/backs setup? But if they do, can Maxfield still be a runner?
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I look forward to Crouch's response when anyone asks him about a player injury.

I have jumped the gun. In the November edition of the Swans magazine it says that McPherson has departed and Playfair will be the head coach.

The idea of Crouchy in the mix with those kids is fraught with possibilities......slackers? nah, don't think so; too crook to train? aaahh...well, not really; injured, broken leg, dislocated thingummy? so? and your next question is? poor buggers, wonder if they know what they have in store for them.
