Has to be S Reid, he has not only shown promise at Brisbane, he was consistently the best at lower levels. Not dropping off like some of our others like LJ
    Staying ahead of the game...

    I'd like a crack.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Not sure where u are getting the idea that LJ dropped off.

He had a pretty consistent year and no worse than Sam's. Our expectations may have been higher of LJ's than Sam's because he was a year older and an earlier draft pick, but on output in the seconds, there wasn't much between them.

Sammy Reid would be a great choice but he is behind the pack at present apparently. Shoulder preseason. Achiles issues.....so not sure if he is an immediate starter, but as Henry said, they didn't expect his development to be so rapid, so I would surmise that he wsn't originally slated for a major position even at this stage.

Andreys will have to earn his spot like all of them. There is a vast age difference between Spida and Andreys like about 14 years or so.

In all fairness to him he probably did actually have a defender on him in that game.

Does anyone else think Goodes is wasted when played at CHF? I know he's older and we need tall marking forwards but he's so much more effective in the middle doing his thang. my two cents.

I agree with you he was playing CHF & he played it very well, has a natural instinct for the possie.
