8 marks and a goal in your first game playing mostly on Daniel Merritt is a fair effort. For that game only 8/10

Difficult to rate on one game but was super impressive for one of the youngest players/the youngest player in the AFL. A seven from me with a bullet! I think he will be a top liner given time.

Based on one Senior game, and all his ressie games where his quality of play rose to the level that he was given a game at the last round as an end of season prize, I would say he is a definite seven, and I am feeling particularly mean not giving him an eight.

He is my Most Unexpected for the season

    7. Didn't expect him in the seniors but looked comfortable in the game against the Blions.

In the one game he played, he easily gets an 8. Since it was only one game, I adjust down to 7 - but only pedantically. If the Swans don't give him a whole lotta gametime & chances this year, they're fools!*

*pending the "they know something I don't" factor, of course.

    You know we did.

Played well in the reserves throughout the year, getting a well-earned call up at the end of the year. His one senior game was good and showed promise, and with his good reserve showings that gets him a 6.

    6.

    Don't want to mozz him.

There was another player that was once on our list that played a blinder of a first game. Coincidentally, on the same ground. Anyone remember him?

Let's hope he goes the other direction to this player.
