Jesse might get squeezed out here, especially if they play Pyke. Bird might come in to arrest the contested ball discrepancy.
I'm plumping for
I/C: Craig Bird, Mike Pyke, Gary Rohan, Byron Sumner
Emg: Jesse White, Brett Meredith, Luke Parker

Great to see Pyke in the team. A bit sooner than I expected but he will bypass Seaby as the year goes on IMO.
I can't see how the Swans can risk Bird with the current sub rule unless they are 100% sure he can finish a game.
Why is it that Sydney seems to be the only Club that is having so much problem with rucks and the sub rule? I'd play Pyke at fullback all the time. He's experienced enough now and he has the pace to get out of trouble. We then play 2 interchanging rucks and have the players to cover for it.
My emergency educated guess is/are: Parker, Meredith, Bird
Sumner to play as it's the Marn Grook Cup

In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.
Pyke's in. Gotta be in. And won't be the sub after what happened last week.
10100111001 ;-)
cant understand seaby out with essendons rucks. killed hudson last week. not sure pykie better than seabs. dont play ruckman as sub. use him to play forward or back against dons big guys. i like parker and bird for sumner and bevan, need some in and unders now that kirky is gone and bolton played almost full time fwd last week.
Go Bevo, I love you and your better than 50% goal kicking average.
I'd like to see Meredith ahead of Sumner.
Sumner chased a lot of ball, but did get much of it.
I think Meredith might give us a bit more than Sumner ATM.
