Terrific to see Ugg continuing his giant killing selections.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

We should win the ruck dual, and our midfield can match it with theres. Its wether we can improve our skills. We'll have to make the most of our forward entries as there defenders will not give us much, and they could rip us up rebounding on the SCG.I think this game will tell us alot about where we are at, Geelong also. Swans by 16.

I love Jimmy Bartel. He makes me go all weak at the knees...I hope it is cold and he wears his longsleeved guernsey.....who cares about the result

Is the scarlet letter playing? If not, I think we have to worry a little less about theie defense. It's our defence I'm worried about.

Looks like the AFL.com preview isn't sure who's going to win again....

Cats by 8 points.... hope they get it wrong again this week!

Cats to win in a fairly close one. Hope I'm wrong though but I reckon they're really up for it atm. Chris Scott (or is it Brad?) seems to have successfully played the "we'll show Bomber and Gazza" tactic so far.

Yep, saw them live, they weren't very convincing, it was just that they had no opposition.

Corey Eniright - 3 time all australian last 3 yrs

Paul Chapman - 2 time all australian last 3yrs

Stevie Johnson - 3 time all australian

Joel Selwood - 2 time all australian already at 22yrs of age !!

    Scarlett
    Bartell
    Ling
    Mackie
    Ottens
    Byrnes
    Josh Hunt
    Milburn
    Stokes

just to name a few ...............we certainly wont be underestimating this team of champions albeit some are aging so are some of ours..........

No Harley, Rooke nor Ablett but they are still a force and most importantly a team who knows how to win !

If we win this one we have built an awesome foundation of self belief for the 2011 season especially against a team with such a great backline !!!

Geelong Cats and Sydney Swans AFL Stats Comparison

fascinating reviewing the team stats............of both teams..........Geelong average 36 disposals per goal and the Swans average 24 per goal !.......................yet Geelong only average 12 goals for per game vs our 13.3 per game.

what key matchups on the weekend..............anyone willing to guess who AJ will match up on if Tag doesnt come back in the side ? not to forget Reid and Whit having some of teh best in defence marking them on sat night
