Gia was well held by Shaw in the semi until things fell apart towards the end and he barely got a kick in the H&A with Smithy towelling him.

He can hurt sides, but I reckon he would not be happy with his return the past few seasons against us. That said, I guess he's due...

The poor surface of Manuka , oh no, that was the SCG that Rocket blamed for Cooney's injury.

I rest my case! With Lake out its a perfect time to put the Mummy in front of the big sticks and FINALLY use our ruck supremacy rather than to play 2 perfectly good AFL ruckmen in the Two's! The Dogs would have no answer to Mummy up front with TDL one side and McGlynne the other. After he kicks 5 in the first 3 quarters throw him on the ball for the last quarter just to rub it in! I am off now to have another Singha and catch a few ping pong balls.

Cooney has been spending a fair bit of time up forward so I'd be inclined to put Mattner on him.. If that doesn't work, Smith...If that doesn't work...McVeigh...
.If that doesn't work....hmmm, forget about him and try to score more goals collectively than the Dogs, that might work.

At least it should be fine on Saturday, even if it's a bit nippy. There's no rain forecast in the ACT this weekend. We don't seem to play that well in the wet.
