1964 - I am thinking they all had day jobs, back then probably six days a week - work Saturday morning, then footy in the afternoon. After a season like that, how many wished they would have stayed at work instead of playing round 18? How many did? That looks like a major capitulation, but understandable. Last game, season gone, why try?
