John Longmire speaks to MMM footy around an hour out until the first bounce here at AAMI stadium. It's been a wet and dreary day here in Adelaide today. Some light rain is still falling. Nick Smith is a late withdrawal with hamstring tightness and has been replaced by Andrejs Everitt who will wear the sub vest.

Everitt Sub? The way he has been playing in the sub role we might as well just use the 3 currently on the bench and forget about Everitt.

Facebook and Twitter feeds both say "wet and slippery conditions for the game." Should make things interesting. Smith is a big out; hopefully the team can cover it.

Night games in Adelaide are wet and slippery normally, due to the heavy due which inevitably settles at West Lakes. Situation normal then.

Smith a loss, but he probably wouldn't have had an as vital shutdown role tonight anyway.
