Any ideas why it disappeared for the last ten minutes of the last quarter at the Freo game? Just when we really needed it!

In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.
They started it 2-3 minutes late. I suspect they removed it because they didn't want people thinking it was some sort of conspiracy that the last quarter was too short
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Because it didn't start until about 5 minutes into the last quarter.
Have no idea why it happened, but after the Swans kicked the first goal of the last quarter I looked at the clock at the restart to see how much time had elapsed and the clock had just started??
I then knew that the siren was going to go at about 25mins into the last quarter and as we made our charge, I was hoping that the runner would be out to let the guys know there was much less time to go than would show on the clock.
I guess they decided, rightly so, to just take the clock off the screen rather than cop the flack that would have ensued when we had a 23-24 minute last quarter (according to the clock).
EDIT: Too quick Des
