I have just read the experience of our coaching panel. Longmire doesn't have anything after his role or Coach but it should have said Assistant Coach Sydney Swans.

John Blakey; Presume First Job as Asst

Henry Playfair;Development Coach/Reserves Coach, First Year Coach

Stewart Maxfield;Development Coach, First Job as Asst

That from the Swans site but I thought Stewie worked on setting up the Swans Acadamy & also as Defence Coach. There is a glaring lack of detail on the site as to the experience & time spent at Swans or otherwise except for Stone & Tudor. Even Horse has no detail next to his name.

Now the coaching experience might just be far greater than I am reading but the detail is not on the site. I would love to see Stewie Dew doing specialist Forward Drills & Goal Kicking Instruction for our blokes. Not because he was a forward but because he was the ultimate kick for goal both on the run & set shot. Beautiful ball hold & fantastic level drop.

Leigh Tudor wasn't a slouch in front of the sticks either & could also instruct on technical aspects of goal kicking

John Blakey should be taking care of the Defense as that was where he played most of his career.

I think Henry & Maxi are doing a great job for a couple of rookies coaching the resies.
