    Round 21 - Richmond

I'm afraid it's just not our year.

A draw with the Demons, narrow losses to Essendon, Adelaide, and Collingwood, and several bad and unexpected losses at the SCG.

Now we face perennial under-achievers Richmond at the MCG on Sunday. Remember what happened last year?

If we're to hang on in the top 8 we simply must win this game. A four quarter effort should do the trick, provided that we kick straight. I can't say I'm confident about the likelihood of either.

Swans by a couple of goals.

Have a feeling that loss last week will burn in the guts of the players. They will come out fired up this week and blow Richmond off the park.

..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

We must and when we must we normally do win. I think we need to make a couple of changes, Tadhg needs to go out as he was very ordinary and his player managed to notch up 4 goals, 3 on him and the other player he went to kicked another. McViegh will come back, give TDL another chance to get in the rhythm of things. Poor LRT drew the short straw last week getting Fletcher but I still like a 2 ruck set up, look at Hawthorn they have turned David Hale into a goal kicking ruckman when he hardly kicked any for North. We could do the same with Seaby. LRT back to the backs where he belongs

I am still haunted by the richmond game last year, how we lost that I will never know. Anyway this time round surely with so much riding on this game that we will win and win well. That is logic but I just am not confident, we dont have the talent to really put teams away. It is a massive danger game but ill say swans by 16 points.

Tigers are pretty bad, but your lot do not travel well so i don't envisage a flogging either way. Swans by 15 pts.

Add me to the "still scarred by last year's match with Richmond" set. We really ought to win this one -I mean, c'mon, Richmond - but that's just the time that we relax and the game is pulled out from under us.
