    Columbo to debut for Freo...

I admit to being puzzled when he was delisted. His second year was a huge improvement on his first year.

Good luck to him, went back to the VFL and got a chance with Freo.

I'm hoping a similar fate awaits MOD this year, another I would like to have seen given one more chance at the Swans...

hehe... I must admit I had to go and look at the Freo side to find out who Columbo was. My bad

I too hope he does well this week now that I know who he is.

..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

    Lol...sry mate.

ORB would always refer to him as Columbo in his ressie match reports, it sort of became a given.

AFL debut at 23yoa. Might not be a JPod style record (nor even Nick Duigan), but he has been in the AFL system for several more years than either. Even Ryan Brabazon got to play an AFL game while with the Swans.

Good on him for sticking, and sticking, and sticking, at it. Who knows why he got the chop from the Swans, but players don't get a 2nd shot in these circs unless they've really shown something.
