My concern is that Tadhg playing as one emergency is likely to cause others.

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
Sure Spangher hurt his shoulder but geez his last quarter was pretty good with a bung shoulder. He wasn't listed as an injury after the game from my memory.
Meredith and Parker in for McVeigh and...............................Jetta!
Meredith, Parker for McVeigh, Jetta.
Surprised, but perhaps looking for bigger bodies against Cats. Massive opportunity for Meredith. Take it lad!
Hallelujah Jetta has FINALLY been dropped!!!!!!!!!!!!! Would have rathered Gordon instead of Meredith though. Fingers crossed Spangher and Johnson are fit, and then to me that would be our best team possible to play.
The team to face Geelong on Saturday is:
B: R.Shaw, T.Richards, A.Johnson
HB: M.Mattner, H.Grundy, N.Smith
C: J.Kennedy, A.Goodes, C.Bird
HF: R.O'Keefe, J.White, M.Spangher
F: D.Hannebery, S.Reid, B.McGlynn
Foll: S.Mumford, J.Bolton, K.Jack
I/C: N.Malceski, B.Meredith, L.Parker, G.Rohan
Emg: N.Gordon, L.Jetta, T.Kennelly
In: B.Meredith , L.Parker
Out: J.McVeigh (personal), L.Jetta
Milestone: J.White - 50 games
The selectors are continuing to show great judgment in following the advice given on RWO usually 2-3 weeks after we have given it. Can't complain though, this is a good team and one that could smash Geelong who hopefully are tired from their Finals extra load training.
