    Teddy Richards

Teddy has had a great year and deserves his own thread. He gave Reiwoldt a bath today and there is talk on the other boards of possible AA honours. Well done Ted.

100% agree - he has been so very good this year. From 2010 - 2011 looks like a different player - well done again today.

If he played in Melbourne he'd be a certainty for All-Australian selection. But he doesn't. So he won't.

Been terrific all year, rising to the role of "back line commander" when Craig retired. Always looks so steely and focused during the game too, great to watch.

We gave him time, and he has repaid us in spades.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

    Nobody struts like the Spang!
It's poetry in motion that boys walk.

He has had a fantastic year and was wonderful again today. That effort to smother Schneider in the 2nd quarter and stop a certain goal - just wonderful. Wouldn't look out of place in the AA team, and with Jude's form slipping in the 2nd half of the season, has to be in with a shout for B&F.

Healy said on the commentary that the smother could define our finals hopes. How prophetic that statement was.
