A man called Armstrong wants to walk on the SCG

In further shocking news to the Crows, Tony Armstrong, in career best form has requested a trade to Sydney.

Could this mean that we swap Sumner for him? If that was the case it would be a win-win for both players and Clubs.

The Swans recruit their token bad boy.

He was born on 29/9/89 is 185 cm and 80 Kg.

Originally from Burrumbuttock NSW, Played NSW-ACT U18's/Riddells Creek and Calder U18's.

Fair point Bas. State for State, could well be a win win all round.

I assume he means either Sydney club, in which case, if GWS want him I doubt we're a chance.
If we did snare him, a trade for Sumner seems logical.

I imagine it's the Swans. The media would destinguish the Swans and GWS now.

I don't think he would want to join GWS as I imagine he would want more success immediately.

The article said that they would give Sydney a call and you would have thought if it was GWS they would have said GWS.

The Crows official mentioned they would havew to deal with Sydney, meaning the club, not GWS so the boy prefers us. Sumner definitely would be a good swap as he would be good for them and Armstrong good for us. Armstrong is the sort of player we are developing at the moment would fit into ther outside mid or Hf role very well. Our speed would not be an issue with him, Jetstar and Rohan as well as a few of the juniors coming on.

I just watched the vids of him on the Crow's site. He is not particularly fast, but his foot skills would certainly be a step up for us.
