Post TLM Count - Round 14-15

As I double posted rounds 10-11, I've doubled up today with rounds 12-15.

Round 14 v Collingwood, ANZ Stadium

    Sydney14.993Collingwood13.2199

Brownlow Medal 3:Travis Cloke (CW) 2: Dane Swan (CW) 1:Jarrad McVeigh (SY)

It was Collingwoods turn to have a case of the misses. Despite dominating the play, their scoring did not pressure the swans. No Richards meant it was going to be hard to keep Cloke under control, and Jack's desperation to win the ball caused him to leave the ground early after a nasty head knock with team mate Bolton. The swans managed to take the advantage early before the pies kept up the pressure. Failing to kick straight gave the swans some hope and they took full advantage when Goodes and then McVeigh's 4th goal put them in front.10 minutes into the last quarter. But the pies wouldn't lay down and won by a kick.

Pies by 6. 4 goals each to McVeigh and CoCaptain Goodes with 3. Seaby again dominated in the Ruck.

    7-5-1

    Round 15 v Adelaide, AAMI

    Sydney6.1450Adelaide8.957

Brownlow Medal 3:Jared Petrenko (AD) 2:Jude Bolton (SY) 1:Kurt Tippett (AD)

On a rainy Saturday night the swans led at the first 2 changes, but failed to capitalise on this lead by failing to kick a major in the 3rd term, allowing the home side to grab the lead. Every time the swans managed to get near the crows or in front the Crows hit back. In a frantic last 10 minutes the crows managed to win the game after the swans again struggled to register a major.

Crows by 7 points. All single goal kickers.McVeigh led the disposals.

    7-6-1.

Told you Jude would poll because he has the Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm factor.

Don't think he will win the TLM outright, but could we have a Special Award for.....any reason at all really. ?
