    Relevant points:

We are located in the Trumper or concourse
    Can still buy guest passes
Have the option of transferring to a concourse (gold) reserved seat at no cost (offer till 15th Feb)
Club negotiating to improve bar and catering in the Trumper (good luck with that)
Those who stay in the Red Zone will get priority to get back in the members when building is completed.

I'm hoping we get behind the goals, so the seating is "like for like". There will be mailout soon showing exact location. Reserved concourse is no go for me because Mrs ORB likes a high up view, Brewongle is no go because of the cost of a family membership there. Guess I'll give the Trumper a go.
I know that the O'Reilly and some parts of the Trumper will get "full sun in the face" problems for afternoon games. Pick your seats carefully as we have a few afternoon games this year... Get out the map and check would be my comment. I know I will be!

It's amazing to me that members would withdraw their support of the club on account of having to move seats for a couple of seasons. No games are better than a different view of them? You'd think this might be a time to consider that the club actually needs its members to stick with them - with the SCG redevlopment rather inconveniently co-inciding with the arrival of GWS. It's not like this was a decision within the club's control.

PS - and big thumbs up to those (hopefully most) who are just looking for clarity on where they'll be sitting.

3 game Red Zone membership and not living in Sydney means I'll probably only be attending Saturday night games, so I guess sun-in-the-face won't be a big deal for me.

    Hi Royboy

Im not in Trumper but in the churchill just to the left of the goals, Im 1 row from the front and the view is fantastic, I was offered to change seats due to re zoning but i wont give them up unless I could get the front row. The Trumper is at same elevation directly behind and also to the right of the goals. We did start in the 2nd tier of the churchill but it was too far away and too high, luckily the membership team found me new seats. (if only they could get me to the front row hint wink) )
Hope you get the seats you want

    Cheers

Red Zone....do I need to pick seats?

Sorry I'm a bit confused, as a red zone member, wont there still be a "members reserve" but now in the trumper stand...or do I have to pick seats?

Spot on rwgirl - there will still be a members reserve, just in the trumper stand instead of where it is normally - you don't have to pick particular seats.

Mailout arrived from the club yesterday. The new Red Zone is Bays 316, 317 and 318 in the Trumper stand (the three closect to the Churchill) and Bays 13-17 on the concourse. No sun in the eyes, down the ground view, best that could have been hoped for. The difference is that there are now only three grandstand bays, so it will very much be a case of the early birds (the ressie watchers) bagging the good seats.

It would appear that General Admission on the Trumper concourse has gone by the board, all Red Zone now.

Long term members in the other stands will get their turn in the future, as upgrades to Brewongle, Churchill and O'Reilly stands are next on the agenda, presumably when the capacity cap agreed to before the Olympics expires.

The playing length will be stretched agin, the minimum ground length will be 155 metres, isn't the G only 160 metres?

Yeah, I'm not too happy about the paltry number of grandstand seats available.

For goodness sake, it's for 2 seasons. It's not like it's anything really serious in the big scheme of things.

It's not as if the ground has been anywhere near to capacity in the last couple of years.

I'm afraid we're a little bit precious up here. On top of being fickle.
