    Currie gets SANFL ruck gig

After five years on our list without getting a senior game, good news for Dan Currie.

He replaces Cain Ackland at North Adelaide and still has hopes of an AFL career.

Are Ericksen and Earl Shaw still kicking around down there?

He will do well there I liked his grunt and protection of the little blokes. He is quite agressive which will suit North as they have always produced tough agressive players. Bob Hammond, Grant Wilke, Mike Patterson coached them and he was feral, the Stringer bros who ended up at Glenelg, the same with Peter Anderson. Hard & tough at North and he will fit in nicely as he seemed to be developing that sort of grunt last season. He will also have a chance to see how he compares to some quality big guys too.
