Would love to see Morton get a run against his old mob. Stick it right up them!

The main impact from Goodes this year has been his goal kicking - so the changes for next week have to address that first (assuming he is injured).

Personally, I would prefer TDL to come in.

But, if they decide Walsh or White is the better bet, then the next decision is whether they are to do the dual role (as required of LRT), or play as a specialist forward.

Reid fit is an automatic selection. While some players can be effective with some injuries Sam hasn't been in the last few weeks. His biggest contribution has been to attract defenders. He is a good player now who will be a great player for the club and IMHO we shouldn't play young key position players with injuries. It has the potential to do more harm than good.......Especially when White was showing more than he had previously.

Anyone thinking next week will be other than extremely bloody difficult should have a look at what Richmond is doing to port.

I am worried. Especially if Goodes doesn't play.

In the second instance he had a player so lonely in the centre square he was crying! If he had have got it to him we would have had a sure goal as the forward line was open.
this is bad news. grundy is really good at knowing when to go off his opponent, but he does usually just go in a straight line. to the marking target he knows will be there. so maybe a mark, maybe a ball up/throw in.. if instead he could learn to look up and scan for a loose player on a run out of defense he will be a weapon and create lots of goals for us.

Totally agree. He has a crack but he's just so limited in that role.

What's the story on Lamb? Is he close to getting a game?
I think they need to give Walsh an extended run in the seniors. Lets let him settle in the role,
something he didnt get to do at St.Kilda

Lamb is a while away from being ready. Its gonna be between White, Walsh and TDL, and maybe Morton. The Swans have already said Goodsey's replacement will be dependant upon the opposition so they're not being drawn into any one particular replacement. I can also see Reid getting a week's rest somewhere along the way. Oh and Pykey must be sniffing around too. Tricky job for the Match Committee this week....
