Simple, if we play 4 consistent qtrs and not a half or a qtr of the game we win. The thing that worries me most is our terrible record at the G over the last few years. Other than that if we are on our game we are a class above richmond and im confident we will be keen to bounce back this week. Swans by 17.

I'm going to this match and I really don't want my first game attended to this year to be another loss at the G. I think we're too good of a side to lose two in a row, and while the Tigers are in pretty good from themselves, I think we should have them covered. Swans by 33.

It's been 9 months (Round 21) due to circumstances that I have seen a swans game live in the flesh, let alone any other AFL game. Lets get revenge for that game!

I'll be there rattling the gates prior to them opening! Can't keep me away this time.

I'll be there - in the same way that I was there last year against Melbourne and Richmond. I will try sitting in a different spot...

May try and catch up. I'm supposed to be with either a) my Tiger loving sister, or b) my Tiger loving mate and his Tiger loving family.

I will see if JDL is available.

    Truly noble.

Seems we're now favourites. Swans at 1.82 on Sportsbet. Tigers 2.00.

It's been a strange betting match.

After Goodes was confirmed out, I started backing the Swans @2.18 on Betfair. I felt sure they would come in and the market had just over reacted. I continued putting 'back' orders in all the way down to @2.06. Yesterday I put a 'lay' order in @2 and it was all taken by this morning.

Swans are currently @1.99 to back. Richmond are also @1.99 to back.

Two weeks ago we were premiership contenders and this week we are tipped to lose to Richmond. Does that make Richmond premiership contenders? Or perhaps there is another explanation which is that the media can't remember what happened more than a week ago?

If you go by our record at the G against the Tigers it's understandable that the weight of money has been for the Tigers hence them starting favourite. Has nothing to do with whether we are a premiership contender. If we want to be a premiership contender losing at home against a team that didn't make the finals last year is a bigger worry!

Last year i was arrogantly confident going into this game and i was left with egg on my face. So i'm more than a little worried going into this one. Going on our entries into the F50 last week if we can have a forward (white/Reid/Walsh) stand up and make a contest we should still win.

Must be ten years since we last had a draw. Time to take the 50/1 and bankrupt the TAB.
