    Sam Reid knee injury

Reported on SEN radio today that Sam Reid not only has a sore shoulder but has recently hurt his knee and is very doubtful for this weeks game.
Jesse White they were saying will come into the side.

Tell me it's his "kicking knee".

I wouldn't be surprised if he's not quite right. Hasn't really been the same player since the knock he took in the Freo game.

To be honest, you'd be tempted to rest him for a couple of games and make sure he's right for the second part of the season. There's never really a good time to lose players, but right now looks best, while our draw is still relatively soft.

Opportunity knocks for a few guys waiting in the reserves side : TDL, Walsh, Morton, Pyke, White, Cunningham, F-Bomb etc.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

There are photos on facebook of him training like a trojan.
SEN has never been a very reliable source of info, especially out of Sydney.

This is the first week he has trained the early session fully and ran the whole session out well, I think SEN are about 5 weeks out with their 'information'. I just called them and they said he was carrying a knee and shoulder injury and I said he looked fine to me yesterday (see above photo) and they said 'he couldn't have picked the injury up during the session could he ?' (sound of clutching straws) I told them he trained right through well and I saw no problems, their answer was 'um ok... bye....'

It will probably turn out to be Sam Reid from GWS.

We can then move this to the 'Melbourne media have NFI" thread....
