Goodes is simply not a key forward. He never has been and never will be. As someone who watched eade butcher his early career playing him as a kpp, nothing has changed. He is a much better player on the ball.

We're in 2nd gear at the moment, very fumbly and ususal systems aren't in place

Assume Horse won't be very happy, won't want to take our foot off the pedal in the 2nd half as GC are capable if given a sniff

It's certainly not the best use of his talents (though it may increasingly be as he gets older) but he's still a far better key forward than White, Reid or Everitt at the moment.

Time for a patented Horse blast at halftime. Suns are playing with the utmost intesity and e are not matching them in this regard

As ugg said, we need to match their intensity. We are not currently doing that. Horse will smash them

Well, the Suns are better than last year that's certain, but our blokes need to step up the disposal efficiency and discipline. Put it in 3rd gear boys. Goodes not getting to the ball, looks slower, I'm sure he'l get there. Free kicks??????

I'm at Metricon. Firstly, great venue. Hopefully a few locals will come along at some stage.

Secondly, the umpiring is killing me. Swans fans here are all frustrated. Thirdly,we are clearly trying to win without getting hurt and get out of here. Not good enough! We look slow and confused. Time to wake up Swans!

Not happy that we lost that quarter. Better step up next two quarters boys. I reckon Reid will be OK.
