    Swans in the media today

Not surprisingly, there are a fair few articles featuring the Swans in today's papers.

Whether or not it is true, this line from Flanagan amused me

Kirk, a Buddhist, must be the only person on the planet to know both Barry Hall and the Dali Lama.

Meanwhile, Gary Lyon is still sitting on the fence, while pretending not to.

Unheralded Swans are proving 'experts' wrong

Longmire rolls out the normal cliches about having proved nothing yet.

    Swans unproven: Longmire

Jolly has no idea why the Swans keep losing to the Pies

Swans at peak of powers, says Pie ruckman

And buried in stories about other clubs

Dew provides a hint to the success of the Swans' stoppage work this year

Crucial Port gets coach right: Dew

and LJ to finally make his Crows debut today

Tippett 'still not ready' for return

And in the Telegraph, there's a story about the Shaw brothers.

Noticed this. Had a chuckle. Would have been a bit unnerved at the attention a couple of weeks ago, but not now. The boys have proven they can handle pressure, so additional stuff in the media should not be turning their heads too much.

Thanks Liz, hard to get some of that stuff these days with the papers getting a bit tight about taking stuff off the net.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Thanks Liz - will cancel my media moniters account - between you and Ugg we get all the news and info we need. Had a bit of a flick thru some other club sites and this one is by far the most informative - thanks Sid

We do have a Ying/Yang thing happening on the site. Ugg and Liz provide great information which, to keep the Universe balanced, must be matched by useless drivel. I'm just glad to be of assistance in that regard.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Thanks, Liz. That was a morning well-spent.

I enjoyed the Martin Flanagan piece but took heart from Darren Jolly. If he doesn't have a clue about the Pies' winning streak, then no-one does, including Buckley et al. Four points coming up.

To be fair Al, a lot of your useless drivel is pointless crap. I strive for a balance between the two.
