Southern Power have forfeited their game tomorrow against Manly in Div 4.

That's probably bad news for Nor-West, who need to beat UTS to confirm a finals spot.
Otherwise, depending on other matches played, Manly could jump from 7th to fifth (I think)

Correct. Manly will win by plenty to nil.
They were a game plus about 8% behind NorWest, and about 2% behind North Shore. But with Manly getting the walkover and no more points against, that just about ends any mathematical hopes for North Shore, even if they can get a win at Greygums. If NorWest has a narrow loss to UTS, the percentage difference that decides who makes the finals will be very tight.

The next waiting game will be at Mona Park tomorrow morning to see how many Auburn players turn up - if they don't get a quorum, Div 2 could also be virtually decided by forfeit.

I'm reliably told that UTS didn't supply a club umpire for the game against the Jets, which also constitutes a forfeit and means Nor-West retains fifth spot and a place in the finals. Great for us, it'll be a terrific experience, and to have all three teams in the finals I believe might be a club first. But realistically we would need a huge turnaround to go too deep in Div 4. The top three pretty much have it between them.

Mention of St George backline in RWO Wrap is interesting.

In fact the Premier Div side has only conceded 5 goals in the past three weeks. Not sure if this would be some sort of defensive record in premier division.

St George Div 2 side has also only conceded 4 goals in past two games

Both sit just inside finals - could their defences take them all the way
