Poor effort from Birdy - all the others who didn't contribute a goal at least have the excuse of playijng primarily in defence. (Though I 'spose Malceski wanders far enough up the ground to be almost a mid at times.)
On a more serious note, what is the average number of goal kickers we have had per game this year? What we lose by not having a dominant forward capable of regularly kicking bags, we certainly gain by spreading it around. Without going back and counting, I suspect there's not been more than a couple of games where we've had fewer than 10 goal kickers.
I noticed the Birdy stat and though better of mentioning it, poor guy had a head injury.

You guys/gals are amazing in getting these stats. This would be a good one for Roos for on the couch. With the Swans not having a player anywhere near contention for the Coleman it would indicate that we are the benchmark in this stat as well. GO THE SWANNIES.
I didn't think birdy was that bad, got outrun a couple of times but nothing dire
An article in The Age a little time ago said we had the best spread of goalkickers of any team.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
Can anyone explain these stats to me? What I find particularly confusing is that, according to these, we rank 10th and 9th in the league for points scored and conceded (differentials?). And yet the AFL ladder tells me that we've conceded fewer points than any other club, and are in the top dozen or so for total points scored. What am I missing?

No, I can't work them out either.
I think 'Dared Aroused', the Hun's demon subeditor, is on the job again.
The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible news
The article also has Sam and Mummy on the injury list............
No Idea. Without explanation, they are just numbers on a page.
I know our avg points for is 105.9 and against is 70.8
