Thread: Jude on the couch tonight?

Jude Bolton has been fantastic for us - I have always wondered why another club did not want to trade for him maybe Roosy wanted too much - glad he stayed

Alistair Clarkson had a run in as well at a Junior footy match. Maybe the coaches just can't let go haha.

Yeah Roo's needed to pipe down and let "The Jude" speak more.

The rest of the time Roos spent on clearing himself about trying to trade him and his own coaching style.

Seemed to go very quick. I'm sure Ugg will find the footage for viewing.

    That's it in a nutshell.
That's a pretty fair summary. Roosy seemed very excited to have Jude on there and certainly did far too much talking. Normally I think he does a good job but this wasn't one of his better efforts. Having said that, Jude's not the sort of bloke to say anything particularly controversial.

I thought it humanised Roos as he was either excited about Jude being there or nervous about what he'd say. He definitely was trying to steer the conversation and that was annoying. But it was also clear how close they are and how keen Roos was for Jude to do well - a job Jude could have done quite well by himself. Admirable man.
