    One thing is for sure - the venue is irrelevant to the result.

    This year we've lost to Adelaide and Hawthorn at the SCG, and the hoodoo against Collingwood rolls on at Homebush.

    Same as last year - losing to Carlton, Geelong and Hawthorn at the SCG, and Collingwood at Homebush.

    Agree with that. Over the same period we've beaten the Hawks in Launceston, the Eagles in Perth (twice) and Geelong at the Cattery. In each case, we're the only team to achieve any of these for a decent run of games at each venue. The travel factor probably makes a difference for younger teams, but the better, more experienced teams cope with it pretty well nowadays. Generally the better team on the day wins (or it is a close, roll-of-the-dice game where either would have been worthy of winning).
