Great pictures all, it was an amazing day. Fantastic to hear the song and the Sydney chant ringing out along George St

I got a laugh and a wave of acknowledgement from Rhys Shaw and Hanners after I yelled out
" Left my scooter outside the dairy - NEK MINUTE"
Like most of the middle aged and older generation I did not understand Rhys' quote when presented with his medal
I asked my 20 something son who told me - what a classic, check it out on you tube and its even on Wikipedia

For those who made it to Lakeside last morning, you'd know about Mummy and his green shoes. I yelled out to him today asking where they were and while I couldn't hear his response, it seemed to be something along the lines of "they wouldn't let me, I had to wear these" as he lifted his leg up to show off his black shoes...
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
Great photos everyone! I managed to get on the barrier, after the second fire truck came through outside Woollies (an extra bit of excitement for the day!!). Took a photo of each of the players cars, but this is my favourite - love the 'Yay for McVeigh' banner in the background.
