He'd come in handy a bit later in the year as injury cover....
Its a season only Ludwig could dream of re no ruckman
Said I remember when we used to sit
In the Courthouse Pub in Newtown
Oba, ob-serving the hypocrites
As they would mingle with the good people we meet
Good ruckmen we have had, oh good ruckmen we've lost along the way
In this bright future you can't forget your past
So dry your tears I say
No ruckman, no cry
No ruckman, no cry
Oh my Little sister, don't shed no tears
No ruckman, no cry
So, according to the Daily Telegraph 4 hours ago (the most recent article) the Swans seem to have ruled out a last minute SOS to Tippett?
Unfortunately I cant read the full article. Can anyone shed any light on that?
Surely the swans would have to turn to tippet if we had another serious ruck injury. I've bet they have told him to keep in shape.
Realistically, all of this talk is fun, but silly.
Already he'd have a bit of work to do to get back in shape.
Once his ankle heals, he'd have to then gain match fitness etc and best chance of playing would be at the end of the season. Physically.
Mentally is a different matter, and you'd think he was pretty much done in that respect if he retired.
Only thing to really be gained from a comeback is exposure and press for the Swans, and in that case I'd be all for it
The difference between insanity and genius is measured only in success.
Maybe they can take the best bits from Sam N and the best from Tippo and create an invicible ruck cyborg ready for the 2019 season?
