Correct. Don't go blaming the Wiz for leaving. The Swans sold him at a time when we were in desperate financial trouble.
My opinion is objective truth in its purest form

As part of my therapy I just watched the first quarter of last year's PF. Tippett was awesome!

Harley says Tipoff is a contracted player and is not going anywhere.
Honestly hope he gets his body right for round 1.
    Hurry up round 1.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

THE BATTLE for Sydney big man Kurt Tippett to become a regular senor player again has become harder, with the Swan having an ankle reconstruction on Monday.

Going to put him way behind for the begining if next season.

Not sure that's really true. Buddy had a shoulder reconstruction last off season that cost him most of the pre-season, while Parker had a knee operation but was still in the senior team from round 1 (even if he probably shouldn't have been) and won the BS medal.

On the other hand, Tippett was flying during last pre-season. I went to watch a few training sessions and he was looking fantastic. But he suffered his first injury a few weeks into the season and struggled thereafter.

I agree that having a curtailed pre-season is a disadvantage but this early in the process it's a long way from a disaster. The fact he needs a reconstruction also brings home just how significant his injury was. It's not like the ankle was just a little bit sore.

If Tippett can get back to full fitness and have better luck in terms of not picking up another injury next year, he will be a significant factor in the team improving. Just remember the first half of 2016.

Or just remember his grand final

Or just remember that he is an overpaid spud who could win back to back colemans and still not justify his time at the club

Tippett has played his last game of AFL footy. He'll never make it back to our senior side.

Big if Liz. Pattern of injury too ingrained over a long period of time. Could also create top heavy team with too many bigs if he was actually picked to play. Injuries could play into his hands but sadly his body has failed him too many times over too many years.
