Well deserved! He did 3 really notable things that changed the way the Swans were playing and made them a much more dangerous unit
1. He gave up playing just one ruckman and went with the Mumford /Pyke combination.This not only gave us an extra target up forward ,it also protected Mumford from overload injuries.It made us relentless at stoppages.
2.He stuck with the young players and gave them a real go.There were times when posters were calling for Jetta or Reid to be dropped but Horse stuck with them and it paid off handsomely.His loyalty to the "kids" was rewardedwith a flag.
3.He accepted the need for an x factor forward. Whether it was TDL or Morton or Lamb was a decision made on performance. This made us much more dangerous in attack which had been lacking earlier in the season
