Actually, now that you mention it....
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

I'm putting this post here because although it concerns me as a Melbourne member it may have implications for members everywhere.
We (mrs d and I) were setting up our membership details for the next season. Hers went through OK, but I couldn't get into the membership details. After a phone conversation with Melbourne office, it turns out that the AFL system won't accept different members from the same e-mail address. Has anyone else struck this snag?
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

So that would suggest that the new concourse at the Bradman/Noble end would be ready for next season as well? I remember in 2008 they let people sit in the concourse of the yet-to-be-built Trumper stand, even though the stand itself wasn't finished until 2009. That should help with the capacity a bit, at least.
