All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. - Edmund Burke
Hawthorns defence rated ahead of Sydney's...PMSL
Someone at Champion Data has been smoking the wacky tabacky.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC
Here it is Again! - Huddo SEN
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
Our defense let through less than any other side last season. I don't see how they could be rated third on performance if they were the least scored against. I think Champion Data probably use a Stats model that is flawed, in other words it takes into account data other than lack of scoring against. Don't really like these stats based predictions or assessments. If you go on stats we should have lost the final against Adelaide and the GF.
Stats show a picture.
The y don't prove anything.
Facts can be used to prove anything that's even remotely true.
This doesn't rate the teams subjectively. Defensively we are pretty much clear at the top, but that doesn't rate in super coach. Glad to see our defenders don't sacrifice their offensive game to do so.
It rates Carlton as having the 2nd best forward line. How can it be taken seriously.
On the one hand, I agree that those rankings are certainly nothing like an exact science, but on the other hand, I am getting very nervous considering the last time we won the premiership, the grand final result was reversed the following year
Freo are the dark horses IMO. Not only do they have a reasonably high 'quality' list (4th according to those rankings), they showed this year they are up to the pressure of finals footy.
