How long is the bench allowed to be? I assume we will make changes between game 2 and 3. Traditionally the team going back to back has struggled, but if we can't beat GWS even with a 2nd string side, I'd be worried!!

I'd expect this lot to play as much as possible - kids and players pushing for more senior games.

    1. Tim Membrey, 6. Tom Mitchell, 7. Harry Cunningham, 11. Jed Lamb, 17. Tommy Walsh, 18. Jesse White, 19. Tony Armstrong, 22. Dean Towers, 23. Jordan Lockyer, 26. Luke Parker, 28. Matthew Dick, 31. Harry Marsh, 33. Brandon Jack, 35. Sam Naismith, 36. Alex Brown, 42. Xavier Richards, 43. Dane Rampe, 44. Jake Lloyd, 46. Shane Biggs

Whereas this lot might be trotted out for one of the games.

    3. Jarrad McVeigh, 4. Daniel Hannebery, 5. Ryan O'Keefe, 9. Nick Malceski, 12. Josh Kennedy, 13. Andrejs Everitt, 14. Craig Bird, 15. Kieren Jack, 20. Sam Reid, 24. Jude Bolton, 25. Ted Richards, 30. Lewis Roberts-Thomson, 32. Lewis Jetta, 34. Alex Johnson, 38. Mike Pyke, 39. Heath Grundy,

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

What I like is the draftees and rookies are not injured this year. Will be watching to see how Lockyer and Biggs go.

    Mitchell not in this list:
Brothers unite for NAB Cup - SYDNEYSWANS.com.au

which makes sense because the original one had one two many on it (34 was the max to be named)

Reckon we could struggle against GWS, maybe even get beat. But then we'll beat them comfortably in round 1 when we have a more full strength side whereas theirs will be very similar to Sunday.

Dissapointing, he's the one player I actually want to see play.

I expect us to lose each game by 3-4 goals. Including the following two. We need to find 6 guys to become semi regular this year who have barely played afl. So this is their chance.

Do not care about losing Escort cup games.

Looking forward to seeing some of the faster young guys

Remember we got rolled by the Suns two preseasons ago. Very good chance the Giants with a strong team, a break, and more to play for could do it to us too. No big deal.
