I was going to suggest the same thing - our current runner was a dead eye dick under pressure - I miss him still!!

Whatever part of the ground footballers usually kick from to win a game? [/smartarse]
I kinda picture it being around 40m out and roughly 30degrees off dead in front.

McVeigh with the ball never damages my calm because what happens next will almost always be the right decision and executed well. Thinking back, I've not trusted the on-field judgement of a Swan so completely since Matthew Nicks wore the Red & White. Of course, upon gaining possession, no player wants to hear the crowds pulse rate fall but tough luck. It's the price you pay for consistent excellence in thought and action.

Having now talked up the co-captain, this week I expect him to kick 1.8, lead the clangerlist, and be suspended four weeks for headbutting Lindsay Thomas.

Edited for accuracy (Thomas has more lives than a cat)

Membrey or Everitt. Either are great shots for goal. After seeing Membrey kick in the Twos I think I would love to have him kicking for my life. Drey is next.

Jude's record from set shots is amazing, I wish I had the stats to back this up!

Membrey is a terrific kick no question but I'll reserve judgement on whether he could kick for my life until I seehim kick uunder the pressure of a senior AFL game.

I'll use the Dennis Cometti answer when he was asked this very question. "I'd choose my mum... pause.... Terrible kick but at least she'd care.

It's not funny because it's true! Thomas is the only protected species whose extinction would greatly benefit the planet. I really don't like the way he goes about it.

Should that read "great set shots for goal"?
