Rod I don't think it was his backmans brain not kicking in I think it was the weather. LRT is a bit awkward at times and in wet weather a little worse than normal. It has to do with his gangly build. But he is effective and a very good footballer, it is the gangly elbows and knees that do the damage. I think he will be ok seeing it has been raining up here for a few days so he will be used to it if it rains on the weekend as it is wont to do in Hobart. That is when it isn't snowing, sleeting or just icing up.

    He will be ok.

LRT made some clangers last week, but also took some handy marks. We'll definitely need him this week against North's talls.

Courtesy of the club website, the highlights of the last game vs North. Jetta kicked a brace of stunners, but had to turn away from seeing Gary's injury again.
For those who haven't seen Jude's serious face, it's there.

The weather forecast for Hobart is good - fine for the rest of the week with temperatures between 18 and 20.

I am going down for the game with my 2 boys; excited

Hey Mountain Man, off topic- but how far up are you? I'm up the top.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline

North are holding an open training session at Blundstone on Friday. Any chance the Swans will be having a run around as well? Nothing on the website, but I've got some time to kill in Hobart on Friday.

I am flying out of Sydney Jetstar at 1755 on Friday.

The Mountains are those Blue ones, west of Sydney.

From what I've heard of Hobart you'll need all of the Expendables to have a chance of achieving this.

..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Shame, his importance to us is underrated I feel. Bring in Rampe.

I hope he is not out for too long but I dont think it is a disaster to have a couple of players missing every so often - but losing too many defenders will upset the balance - johnson is bad, shaw adds to that significantly, particularly given that north boast a reasonable forward line with petrie and a few of the smalls.
