This is nothing more than a training run, not sure how much the coaches will take out of this.

I'm getting fit retrieving the ball at the Swans end so every cloud...
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

    Swans 9.6 16.10 28.16 36.21 (237)
    Hawks 0.2 3.4 5.4 6.4 (40)

Goals: Morton 10 Walsh 7 Jack 3 Marsh 3 Towers 3 Lamb 3 Membrey 2 Rampe 2 Lloyd 1 Robinson 1 Unknown 1 (sorry missed the first 3 goals and could only figure 2 (Morton and Walsh) of them via the commentator, whose accuracy with identifying the players wasn't too flash so don't rely on the above)

Tuggeranong Goals: Pocock 2 McGrath 2 Bernasconi Newhouse

    Hey Big Al,
Is that grass as long and clumpy as it looks in your photo ? I reckon they're playing on the local cow paddock !

who looked impressive? Or was it such a training run that it's hard to draw any real conclusions? Nice to see Jack with 3.

Pretty accurate description. There are going to be some tired boys after running all day on soft spongy ground.

Hopefully it'll be okay but Harry Cunningham was on crutches at the end of the game. Swans are sure of some kind of liagiment damage but aren't sure whether it's the dreaded ACL or not. Fingers crossed for Harry.

Lots of good performers today but since the opposition was so poor it's hard to know what to take from the performances. One thing I will say before I hit the road is I can't wait until Mitchell gets a decent fitness base. Just very classy in everything he does and my boy Jed got a tonne of ball and it was only the yips that prevented him from kicking 5-6 goals.

Al, I'm not putting too high expectations on young Mitchell, but by God, he reminds me of Diesel. Those quick hands and even his running style...AND, he does seem to attract the football.
